7 p.m. Eight animated films by Trainor, whose work is by turns hilarious, sad, and bizarre.

Saturday, January 26, 2008

Helen Hill

1 p.m. Ten handmade animated films in newly restored 16mm prints from the Harvard Film Archive. Hill's films incorporate a wide variety of techniques, including stop-motion animation and manual film manipulation.

Filmmaking Workshop

3 p.m. UF associate film professor Roger Beebe will show participants how to craft their own unique handmade films. No advance registration needed.

Leighton Pierce

7 p.m. This program will focus on Pierce's early 16mm films and an interesting duo of videos that informed them.
